Signage includes all printed material the purpose of which is to indicate a direction, a specific area or an aisle. The sign can be suspended, on the floor or at eye level. Often used in large spaces such as exhibitions or supermarkets, its aim is twofold: give clarity to clients as to their direction and whereabouts, and advertise specific products. If the sign is especially eye-catching, it can also provoke the "redirection" of clients.
